Elizabeth Thelen is a certified educator with over 20 years of experience teaching in private schools, public schools, and individualized tutoring. She specializes in evidence-based structured literacy and dyslexia remediation, using Orton-Gillingham aligned instruction to help students build strong foundations in phonological awareness, phonics, decoding, spelling, and fluency.

In addition to reading intervention, Elizabeth supports students across a wide range of academic areas. She works with children who need explicit guidance in handwriting, written expression, grammar, math concepts, science understanding, history, and literature studies. Her strength is identifying skill gaps, breaking learning into manageable steps, and helping students gain confidence through clear, systematic instruction.
